Motor Fuel Tax Rate
Effective January 1, 2027 through June 30, 2027*
The Illinois Department of Revenue will increase the Illinois Motor Fuel Tax rates as follows.
Diesel $.571 per gallon from $.558 per gallon
Gasoline $.496 per gallon from $.483 per gallon
